" Mommy when do I have babies?"
Let's talk about how quickly these little people grow up. It was just like a year ago that I saw my baby grow into a little someone. Now she impatiently awaits another birthday. She just had one five months ago. She wants to skip through five and six, and go right into seven. Really? Slow down "K". what is your hurry I asked". I want to be a grown up. I continue to drill her, but why. I really wanted to stay or maybe I did say, "You know being a grown up kind of sucks, you have to go to work, pay bills and responsibilities. Her answer, " but they can walk faster". REALLY, you want to be a grown up so you can walk faster, news flash when you get super old, you can barely walk. Plus look at abuela, you run way faster than her." She laughs. But somehow I knew that answer still didn't satisfy her. Fast forward to later that night. Katelyn and I were playing in her room, and she asked me, "Mommy when do I have babies." What????? Babies? How did we go from wanted to be seven, walking faster to having babies. Did you skip puberty, oh yes and how about the big ones, " you don't get to have babies until you graduate college, be a professional ( she looks at me) okay someone who has a good job, so you can buy your big house, nice car, diamond rings and she add 'wallets' and you are a fire fighter. I hope she listen to at least three things. What they are, I am not sure anymore. But no babies until you are at least 28 and have a real baby daddy.

Katelyn dresses herself
We are coming up to those fabulous years in which little girls think they can dressed themselves and actually go out in public. Well even though I am all for encouraging decision making, independence and style, sometimes we need to stop these young minds. We'll let me correct myself, at least my Katelyn. Above depicts a picture of my daughter wearing her new Hello Kitty outfit. Let me point out the baseball cleats and the numerous bows on her hair. Umm love her spirit, but darling I am not letting you leave the house, wearing baseball shoes and a display of bows on your head. You will thank me one day. Until next time.,.

Netflix and Katelyn
Apparently, Katelyn and her brother are hooked on Netflix. While they both have T. V. In their rooms, especially Katelyn just getting a new one. It's not good enough since they don't have netflix. REALLY, you don't say. I barely had a T. V. Growing up. So now guess what. If Katelyn and herbrother can't agree to watch the same show without fighting, I am canceling Netflix, you think they will appreciate what they have then.
